A follow-up to the 2003 hit comedy My Tutor Friend starring Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Ha Neul, My Tutor Friend 2 features a brand new cast with the same concept and charm. Fresh young stars Lee Cheong Ah (Ssunday Seoul) and Park Ki Woong (Art of Fighting) portray the film's lovable feuding couple. Staying true to the genre, the film readily hams it up, letting the odd couple romance bloom amidst over-the-top parodies and hilarious scenes of culture shock and language mishaps. My Tutor Friend 2 is co-directed by Ji Kil Woong, the cinematographer for the first My Tutor Friend and King and The Clown, and Kim Ho Jung who previously served as assistant director on Repechage.

Japanese-Korean girl Junko (Lee Cheong Ah) travels to Seoul as an exchange student in hopes of seeing a Korean student whom she had fallen in love with in Japan. When she arrives at her new university, she finds out that her love-to-be is in the army. On top of that, the guesthouse she's staying at is full of rowdy young guys, including the owner's grating son Jong Man (Park Ki Woong). Junko is set on finding residence elsewhere, but agrees to stay in exchange for Korean lessons from Jong Man. This disagreeable tutor, however, is a lot more interested in teaching her inappropriate words than conjugation. The two initially spend all their time fuming and feuding, but Junko slowly discovers there's more to Jong Man under his insensitive exterior.

Synopsis:

Sun-woo (Lee Byeong-heon) is a devastatingly effective, but businesslike enforcer for Mr. Kang (Kim Yeong-cheol), a mob boss who owns La Dolce Vita, the Seoul nightclub where Sun-woo employs the sloppier, less reliable Mun-suk (Kim Roi-ha) to keep things running smoothly.

Kang is involved in a developing feud with another boss, President Baek (Hwang Jeong-min), when he goes on a business trip, leaving Sun-woo in charge, and discreetly asking him for a special favor. There's a "special" young woman he's been seeing, Hee-soo (Shin Min-ah). He suspects she's been seeing another man, and he asks Sun-woo to look after her while he's gone, and find out if she's cheating on him.

If Sun-woo catches them together, Kang tells him, he should either phone Kang and tell him, or "finish them off yourself." But Sun-woo finds himself fascinated with Hee-soo, a cellist, and his inability to follow Kang's orders soon brings a world of trouble down on his head. Of course, Sun-woo is fully capable of making some trouble of his own.

Synopsis:

By the year 2020, the unification of the Korean peninsula has finally occurred. Detectives from the South, and "Rangers" from the North have merged to form the Special Investigations unit. Equipped with the latest technology, their missions range from quelling terrorist cells to solving high profile murders.

Detective Seok has been assigned to solve the multiple homicides of several prominent members of the scientific community. The only common link is that all of them were found with a mysterious pendant, the same one found on his son whom Seok accidentally shot while trying to rescue him from a terrorist group.

When the police commissioner is kidnapped, and the same pendant is found at the crime scene, Seok is pulled back to Inner City to figure out what the connection is. He is also saddled with Hui-su, a forensic profiler and daughter of the commissioner, who has a habit of not following orders.

At first it appears that it's just another case of domestic terrorism. The further Seok and Hui-su investigates, the closer they come to a 30 year old conspiracy that could destroy their very lives!
